I'm a Technical Animator.
A passionate perfectionist at heart, specialized in rigging and 3D animation.
Since childhood I've been inspired to tell stories and bring characters to life. I always wanted to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. As a kid, you could find me making little movies with my toys. As a teen, I edited travel vlogs and made 2D animated films.
I have always been a daydreamer. Now I'm striving to make those dreams become a reality.
As Motion Designer at Whojo, I help craft 3D and 2D content for broadcast, brands and events. I specialise in 3D, and learned how to work with Cinema4D, while also expanding my knowledge and skill in After Effects.
I worked on ambitious projects for events like Heroes Comic Con and Studio100 Sing-Along.
I did my end-of-study internship at Nacon Studio Ghent (formerly known as Neopica), a Belgian game development studio known for titles such as Overpass and the Hunting Simulator franchise. During my internship, the studio was in full production of Hunting Simulator
3, a realistic hunting simulation game featuring a wide range of animals, firearms, and player customization options.
My role in the company centered around rigging and skinning animals and weapons, as well as integrating them into the game. I
worked on animal retargeting (skinning), animal control rigs, gun rigging, and clothing skinning.
For two days I taught an introductory crash course in Maya, for new first-year students at my University.
With assistance from my two colleague teachers we taught a class of about 30 fresh students. We started with the basics of navigation and menus in Maya. At the end of the second day, the newcomers knew how to render using Arnold. As a final challenge, we got everyone to create a low-poly character. The end result was a line-up of some very cute creatures.
This short experience as a teacher was very fun. I love helping others and sharing my passion for knowledge. I am looking forward to more teaching opportunities in the future!
