This engine is an addition of my own. The original design raised some questions. So I had to find a logical solution for all the tubes.

The tongue sticking out is an important detail. It adds personality to the character.
Most of the organic props were sculpted in Zbrush. While all the hard-surface parts were modeled in Maya.
The shoes were particularly tricky. While getting the proportions of the design right, I still had to keep the underlying anatomy in mind
The design of this prop I based on a piston engine. Maybe the character is being powered by this generator?
To deal with the complexity of the character, but still have enough texture resolution, I decided to split it up into 3 material sets.
Some parts had to be manually retopologised, to ensure proper deformations later when rigging and animating.
