I stand with Baba Voss!
I felt inspired by the show “See”. So I created my favourite character from the show. Baba Voss, portrayed by Jason Momoa.
This project taught me about the pipeline for creating game-ready real-time characters.
I made this character as a part of the character creation course at howest DAE. As a technical animator, it's important to have knowledge about how characters are made. Using a given head base mesh, I started sculpting in Zbrush. First I focused on the general proportions, then added some typical features, and lastly some asymmetrical details. After the sculpting phase, I prepared a low poly mesh for baking in Substance Painter. There I refined the textures and rendered using Iray.
